About the author

The Ursula Trilogy and The Claustrophobic Gopher are collaboratively written by the Weeden and Minor families. The Gopher was written during Covid as our families were together and we decided to make writing a book a great way to make our meals and hikes more engaging.

Both Ursula and Gopher describe real issues. In Ursula it is how animals are treated and engages Native American culture as a way that Nature and Humans can co-exist.

In Gopher, fear is the issue and describes how a gopher’s fear of dark, tight spaces leads him to explore the world and find an exciting life.
