Airport: This article lists all airfields or airports that have received approval from the aviation authorities. Runways can have closed or abandoned facilities as well as paved (concrete or asphalt surfaces) or unpaved (grass, soil, gravel, or sand surfaces) surfaces. Not mentioned are airfields or airports that are no longer recognisable (overgrown, lacking amenities, etc.).

Airport – Paved Runway(s): The number of airports having paved runways (concrete or asphalt surfaces), broken down by the length of the runway(s), is given in this entry. Only the longest runway at airports with multiple runways is taken into account.
